Matthew Mani is a finance and operations leader with over 13 years of experience in treasury, taxation, financial reporting, and management controls within the pensions and financial services industry.
Matthew currently serves as Group Chief Operating Officer of Axis Pension Trust, a leading pension administrator and thought leader in Ghana. In this role, he supports the CEO in leading teams, driving growth strategy, and coordinating activities across the organisation.
Prior to becoming COO, Matthew served as Chief Financial Officer of Axis Pension Trust, where he provided financial oversight, risk management, and financial reporting in support of the company's investment management operations. Before joining Axis, he served as Finance Manager at Joy FM and as Chief Finance Officer of the Ghana Slum Upgrading Fund, a UN Habitat project in Ghana.
Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana Business School and is a Chartered Accountant with both ACCA (UK) and CA (Ghana) designations.
