Dinah Hammond-Afful

Dinah Hammond-Afful is the Principal at Savannah Impact Advisory, where she spearheads efforts to channel institutional capital into high-impact sectors across Africa. With over 14 years of experience in private equity, financial advisory, and venture support, Dinah has successfully driven pioneering investments funds and transactions in Agriculture, Healthcare, Clean Energy, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Technology.

She has been instrumental in raising two Anglophone West Africa-focused private equity funds with over USD $300 million under management and has advised on more than USD $75 million in Ghanaian debt and equity deals, providing strategic guidance from deal origination through execution.

Dinah is a passionate advocate for gender equity and venture building, mentoring emerging founders through institutions such as Seedstars, MEST, MEDA, KIC, Impact Investing Ghana amongst others. Her approach integrates financial rigor with responsible, impact-driven investing.

She holds an MBA in Finance from Coventry University and the Ghana Securities Industry Course Certification. Dinah oversees fund strategy, asset preservation, transaction execution, and portfolio performance, ensuring that both short- and long-term objectives are consistently achieved.
